I actually judged this plane and Jason Noll at the 2009 NATS. Frank was flying this plane with a DA200 in it and I watched him a down avalanche and after the snap at the bottom of the loop, this plane would all but stop in the air, you would hear the throttle come up and the plane was gone.
I got to fly the same combo as is listed at the end of the video at a contest in the NE region (Battle at the BAY) during Friday practice and more than enough power for and very stable but needs some mixing
