ArmA 2: How To Install ACE mod

First video :) Turn volume up, there is commentary.
Out of the videos I have seen, they all seem to overcomplicate downloading ACE so I decided to make my own. Overall quality isn't great I know but it will get better in later videos, I promise :)

@ComradChris74 Are you the administrator on your computer? If not the file will probaably be restricted to read-only.

@Sacreppin916 I think so, but make sure you read the CBA page so you know which addons you need.

@M1NIONM4N Also, if you are using a linux server, there appears to be a few problems with file size limit. ACE takes a lot of space and you can easily exceed the size limit very quickly. You will also want to check  you have all the .bikey files.

@M1NIOnM4N Hey. If I'm completely honest with you I don't know because I have only played MP once. However, a problem that many people have when playing any multiplayer is that their anti virus blocks your computer from accessing their server, or vice versa. Have you had any pop ups on your desktops about allowing ArmA 2 access?

this does not work with arma2 and operation arrowhead combined. ive had so many problems. i always get the "userconfig not found" message i need a tutorial video for combined operations not just arma 2.

@GallowsComedian use SixUpdater to download the latest release. or go in to armaholic and get the "stable" version.

None of the download links are there anymore (the closest I got was a megaupload link, and we all know what happened to megaupload). I'll just wait for ACE for ARMA 3, which they say is in the works.

@groundtrooper091 Thanks but I figured this out a long time a ago. I just used six updater to get the correct files, although that's the only thing I used it for.

@IwAtChViDeOz44 Well it shouldn't, you get it from the @ACE folder, you go into the @ACE/store/double click on userconfig, let it load, then extract the folder in the ARMAII folder, creating a userconfig folder.

@groundtrooper091 Wait if you got 7zip or Winrar, then double click on it, then let it load then drag the userconfig into ARMAII folder. Sorry sbout the confusion.

@FSXflyer12 Because in the @ACE folder, then should be a folder that says store, then go into that, then just drag the userconfig folder into your ARMAII Folder. Then it shouldn't have that error message. Hoped I helped.
