  • goosebumps

  • @zmunshi71 up to Sensory Overload

  • is it just me...has this man not produced anything even mediocre? Everything he has made is pure 'gold'.......i'm having a sensory overload

  • @Outreachat well, fela was always a yoruba man he never left his soul and never sold it out either to the end of his life.. however he did expand his market and singing in pigeon english did just that after all singing in yoruba can only have meaning to yoruba speakers and those who understand the idioms of the language of which they are so many ..

  • @MrBabaagba tiwa ni tiwa ni to to , however we must not be totally exclusive because our culture and language is rich and is blessed with so much depth and meaning not to share it with the world would be selfish so all who want to participate with love and joy are welcome, those who want to use our culture to insult us by disguising themselves in another tribes culture are a failures they all know who they are and am not taking any prisoners with them. period.

  • 1st time hearing this cut by Fela The Great.........Industrial-Strength Afro Funk !

  • can someone pleeeeze translate. Fela is unbelievable. there is so much going on instrumentally on this track, but that bass is unrelenting. The way that bass guitar fades in and out, allowing the other instruments some of the spotlight, yet it maintains throughout, as if to say "I got this, you other instruments can exhale for a bit" ....if fela doesn't make you move go have a doctor check your pulse.

  • with respect to vary opinions , i thank God that i am from the yoruba tribe cause it makes me feel this music in a way a non yoruba will never come close. tiwan tiwa

  • Who can dislike this?

This stuff's too hot. Plus, it's Fela Kuti - if you dislike his music, he'll come from the grave and take you on a ride you will never forget.
