Sock Thunderjets in action on my 4-lane track. If you're interested in racing completely stock T-Jets in Roseville, Michigan, send us an e-mail.

  • The good old days,18V into a 6V motor. Wont last long, but it sure is groovy.

  • We've been racing weekly for the past 10 years and haven't had any problems other than occasionally replacing pickup shoes and brushes. Not sure what you mean, as the transformers were designed around these cars.

  • can you put headlights to these cars?

  • Don't have to, you can buy them. Some of the Aurora Thunderjet cars came with headlights, they're called Flamethrowers. Check Ebay.

  • did u make the pices costom or buils 2 and 2 for 4 lanes... i just have a 2 lane SCX track

  • All track is stock Tyco and old Aurora lock & joiner.

  • You guys race "Crash and burn" as we do. Good deal ... that's the best way.

  • awsome layout, hours and hours of fun !!!!!!!!

  • You should see the track we have. Check out my videos!!! 10 lanes wide!!

  • nothing will ever replace old aurora track

  • Lots of fun and many laughs with slot car racing. Great track and love the layout!

  • I have a great four lane that I had made using most of my tyco track and some after market track purchased on line. I have made some good use out of 6 inch and 12 inch curves. I have a pretty large variety of cars from Tyco, Tomy, Auto World and more. I'll have to race with you guys if I get out to your area.

  • I have a 4 lane set at home. I have a pretty good collection of 100 plus cars of different companys. I love your layout. Keep up the fun.

  • @JBofBrisbane Lol thanks, I was a noob when i asked that but i know now. :P

  • @MCruzerProductions - the different radius curves are designed to fit inside the next largest one snugly. A 9-inch curve fits around a 6-inch curve fits around a 3-inch hairpin bend.

  • @andymation - Life-Like made an adaptor set with 2 Life-Like to Tyco adaptors and 2 Life-Like to old AFX adaptors. Of course, there's nothing stopping you taking one of each adaptor, joining them at the Life-Like ends and going straight from AFX to Tyco or vice-versa.
