This song works for both women and men who have been screwed over by the opposite sex.I'm a man and when my sorry no-good-for-nothing ex-fiancee walked out on me because I wouldn't let her control me,it took me a week to get over her sorry a*@ but you better believe that I did.Where she made a mistake at was after the games she played and had the nerve to even screwed around on me,she wrote me a letter a year later after walking out on me. I wrote her a letter that was mostly profanity.

Lisa sat behind me for a 4 hr flight once and sooooo many people kept coming up to her and her husband asking for autographs and chatting endlessly and she was very nice and tolerant. I heard from other folks at CBS she was very easy to work with during Knots. Unlike some of the divas on the show, i.e. Ms Sherridan ha ha

I saw this "live" when it aired originally on Knots Landing. I searched and searched for the song. (no internet tool then !) Then one day I wake up and it's playing on the radio and a guy is singing it (Michael Bolton). I was pissed ! LOL ! I thought it should be her song. Of well, he did write it !

This song brings back memories. I sung this song in the pagent here in okemah oklahoma. My mom helped me with this song (preparing)& now she's gone. I lost her last yr. So it's a reminder of my mom as well as my youth.

This song hits my life right now, coward that he is to be a traitor, but no its not over for me. I got the strenght to do for ME now and fulfill all my dreams. The love i gave him will torture him with guilt, misery and sadnes. As i go above and beyond.
