@TheBloodyBlackJackal Not worth it. As I said, I take all vague questions as if they were spoken by noobs, because 9/10 times they are. That and the fact the word "replica" was never in the original question caused me to take it the wrong way. Now, good bye.

You know the whole thing about you trying to pass it off as; "you didn't know he wanted a 'replica" Is just hilarious, because you still gave him a false answer. You stated that you thought he was just asking for just 'the' watch, but that would technically exist as a replica therefore the correct answer would have been to give him a link to a replica sight.

Regardless of the fact that you were joking, it still sounded like something you might say seriously; therefore its reasonable to miss it. What you missed however, was not something so subtle as sarcassim; there were key words showing what he was referring too. Plenty of them actually...

@TheBloodyBlackJackal I re-read my comments. As I said, he didn't make it clear that he wanted a replica, so, I responded as if he was a noob, natural reaction. And it should have been blatant it was sarcasm. Notice how I said "I figured only music boxes were advanced enough". That should have tiped you off.

@Evnyofdeath If you hadn't noticed, sarcasim is generally picked up through tone of voice. Of course some things are obvious enough for text, but what you stated isn't one of them. Anyways, as said before, he doesn't need to state "replica" as its implied and quite blatent, given the statements I repeated before. No that is not what you stated, you stated that the watch couldn't play the song...

@TheBloodyBlackJackal Dear god you cannot pick up on sarcasm. Given the conversation, and as you said, the fact the show itself says it, I assumed you'd be able to pick up that unsubtle sarcasim. Alsas, you couldn't.

And again, because he didn't say he wanted a replica, he simply said he wanted the watch, I had no idea what he was getting at, so I told him that the watch only existed in the anime.

@Evnyofdeath pocketwatches and music boxes run on the same technology (even said it in the show-- rofl); and considering that the actual pocketwatch is animated, you can infer that he meant a replica. Especially when he asks, "or will it just be a regular pocket watch" implying that he is speaking of a specific pocket watch, rather then buying just any old one.
