I just have to say, this game is called wii sports Wii Fitness is a very different game that uses a pad thing.

ill tell you the reason that only works on the last one.
First, you see the two red dots in the distance?
one to the left, and one to the right.
and you see how the lanes get bigger each time?
well only on the last shots lane is wide enough to roll onto and hit one of those red dots.
hitting one of the red dots activates a switch that lets the game know to drop the pins.
no it is not a glitch, it is just something nintendo put in the game for strugglers.
