As a fellow drummer, let me first say I really dig the beat you applied to this song. Like, a lot. For a long time now, this song has been one of my absolute favorites. However, there are times I feel like you tried to do too much with the song.  Take 2:11 - 2:22 for example. If it's any consolation, I have no idea what I'd do differently just right off the top of my head. Maybe it's just how you have the kit mic'd? But excellent work with such a complex song. Kudos indeed.

@Shiro87 Thanks. I didnt have the kit mic'd at all. Was all done from a hand held HD cam in a large open room. This was just a bit of practice, I have heard a lot about the sound situation so I may re-do it so everyone can hear whats going on.

its hard to play perfect time to an accoustic recorded track but you did pretty damn good. I can hear where your going with it and it takes it to a new level as a song. If you and Andy played live together it would be much better! Perfect.....you should write him.
