  • its spelled corps

  • Any instrument is allowed in I&E. Individual and Ensemble competitions have always been more loose on rules. Flutes, clarinets, you name it, are all allowed.

  • Thats RJ Cappa. he was a student teacher my freshman year

  • @greatgrantdull Ferdinand David's Concertino for Trombone and Orchestra. Commonly just called David.

  • the Da-vid (say it like its spelled, with the dash) My CB Daniel beasted this mug. Chritian Lindberg plays it. look it up. its a heck a lot faster.

  • piece?

  • i know all of you guys dont even see this any more but you all have to remember he has been marching bari and he is just not used to the toungue transition from slide to valves which if any of you have tried is quite difficult to master if your not used to it. beside that you can tell trobone is not his main instrument because he lack the fluid sound the trombone gives he has way to hard a accent and it sounds like the slide is doing slurs into each note though his lip trills are good

  • Well, apparently he was good enough at playing trombone, baritone, and/or euphonium to get into Cavies.

And David is pretty hard to play. Not a Carnival of Venice or Flight of the Bumblebee, but still difficult.

  • do you even play trombone?

  • i thought they didnt have trombones in the cavaliers

  • yah.... G is old school.......... my dad marched 91 BD when it was in G.... he played euph......... DCI changed the rule in 99 but it wasnt put in pl ace until after the 99 season so it could be used in 2000

  • Also, instruments in corps are not in G anymore... there are in Bb, just FYI.
