http://books.gregvan.com/tile_setting_books.htm Which are looking at in this video, is the finished floor. Home remodeling professional Greg Vanden Berge provides us with an excellent finished stone floor. This was a difficult task and I wouldn't recommend most novice home remodeling do-it-yourselfers, to use this product with out learning more about it. Greg needed to lay each piece out on the kitchen floor and precut the pieces that needed to be cut before applying the thin set adhesive.

  • Hi. Nice work! We are also doing 18" square slate tiles. What size grout lines did you make? 1/4" or 3/8" ? Something else?

  • @AccountabilityNow 1/4 inch, most of the time the grout gets dirty, over time, so I like to limit its size when possible.

  • @gregvancom Thanks for the prompt response. I am doing a slate hearth for a woodstove and we are now going to do the same.

  • @AccountabilityNow Well good luck on your next project and I hope everything works out.

  • very nice
