  • @mrsdmbfan1993... It's a word, yes, and you are definately right. La Bamba (the movie) is the reason I began playing guitar.

  • Such a sad sad tale even 40 years + later we still mourn at the thought of such innocence passing in the night like a frozen wind that fills our lungs on a winters morning.

  • ahh La Bamba what an awesome movie.

  • I love how lou diamond phillips is so kind to them. he played him amazingly(if thats a word)

  • JP's got a great voice! he needs a better promoter

  • makes it seem like their still alive. never knew them, but miss them miss them

  • I've been sitting here in tears thinking ever since Don Mclean started talking about when he wrote AMERICAN PIE and the 1 thing I wonder over and over and can't seem to get off my mind is okay we made a movie about Buddy and a movie about Ritchie-we made sure their stories were told and their voices heard-why has noone considered making a movie about The Big Bopper-tell his story and let people know and make them aware that he was just as important, let his voice be heard and tell the story.

  • jp's son looks so much like him it's scary
