This is ridiculous!

The Tomb of Horrors is probably the deadliest dungeon ever made. Most players don't survive past the first couple of rooms. Even if you do manage to survive to the end, you will find a very nasty boss waiting for you and not much treasure. I suggest to any DM's playing a party through this thankless dungeon to at least put some magor magic item, or perhaps even an artifact, in the last room.

@SoraKirin I guess the best way to put it was that Gygax was testing the player's ability, instead of the character having all 18's :P It was meant to be super-epic

@SoraKirin This one was a boxed set from TSR that sold for $30 too (that'd be more money now-a-days tho, cuz I bought it back in the 90's). It was a remake of the old Tomb of Horrors module that Gygax made to test the "invincible" characters in 1st edition. It was pretty much a deathtrap LOL! You had to seriously think wisely, because stats alone couldn't save you. There's a lot of parts that demand high stats, but the main focus was to humble people LOL! Gygax was a genius in that regard

@SoraKirin That's what I meant... They cut out some stuff in the remake it seems. I don't own the remake. The original is epic tho. 96 page book just for the adventure alone. It's a campaign adventure for 13-16th lvl chars. (I never really got to play it yet tho, cuz the group all moved or whatnot before they got high enuff lvl)

@Taricus Sadly this is better then the version then Wizards produced and sold for 30 bucks. That one isn't even the Tomb of Horrors it's more like a sequel.
