The programme theme/questions are as follows: The importance of justice?
Hope means suggestions for improving the lives of those left behind?
Why is the process so slow, i.e: To state publically that what happened in November 1984 was a genocide?
How much will current and future generations remember the issues?
Is there a movement for solutions from todays youth? How do they learn about what happened?
What can we do?
The need for unity within our community.
How do we keep the hope for justice alive?
Does hidden poverty means the victims of 1984 are still suffering today?
Will there ever be a time when those are guilty will volunteer to come clean on the issue?

  • drsavia, i was not referring to your video as "phony"....it's probably my fault because i was unclear and wrote my message very quickly...i was referring to Ourthoughexactly who is encouraging people to look at his/her youtube page and i just saw some videos that seemed fake and misleading but once again i think your doing a great job and you should definitely continue to create awareness and yes i believe the truth will prevail one day

  • @MsKhalsa123 Appreciated - Thx for the clarification. There is an issue with misinformation. Interesting, even for countries like South Africa & Rwanda, those that committed the crimes were made to eventually admit the genocide they were involved in. We can only hope that you and I will continue to communicate what happened so that it never happens again and those affected can have schemes + programmes to help them. All the Best.

  • sikh channel should continue to create informative documentaries...thank-you for posting this... our thought exactly stop trying to encourage people to watch your phony videos

  • @MsKhalsa123 Thanks for your comment. I've left it up as a point of encouragement to other film makers. I agree we need more documentaries, its what I've been saying for years.

In terms of 'Phony', I'm not paid by the channel. I try to plan each show & do it for free. I've only posted these videos to communicate what people are feeling about issues that are affecting us as SIkhs. Lets take a lesson from the Jews to communicate more through the media. The truth will prevail.
