I've known good and bad in the Tenderloin as a transgender person. I did make friends with people in Divas even though I found its main floor a pretty chilly-spirited place for some months. Diva's manager gave the Employment Committee of the Transgender Civil Rights Implementation Task Force a place to meet each month, a fact for which we were grateful.

in East O? try the 80s and 90s along E14 (International). Look out for Birch, it's in the 90s. look/ask around, using your head. Make sure you're in a whip and have a buddy or two with you. it's dangerous tho. my advice is to get into oxy or norcos n shit. it's a lot better, reliable, and safer to deal with sick/ injured people (if you happen to get a direct line.) Picking up OCs in the Tenderloin is reeeeaaalllly easy. just watch your back
