Do they teach paddling in the USA? Is this supposed to look cool? The journey doesn't matter if you don't get home in one piece.

Did you notice that they are using a canoe that has a keel under it to do whitewater rapids? Keep on your knees, and put the heavy man in back...good luck...looks like they had a ball...wish I was there...Lee

meaning no disrespect to the the paddlers who are obviously having a wonderful time (Most probably jealousy on my part).
And, the waters are fairly swift and tricky.

haha tell me about it acelocko that looks a bit sketchy. Try paddling on the same side and stern priny and drawing etc. and yeah dont grab the gunnels and get on yo knees but keep it up

Keep in mind that these are jr high and high school kids with little or no experience. They are told to get on their knees etc, and that's why there are so many capsizes. But that's half the fun!
