tomatoe / tomotoe, mother fucker

@MilwaukeeDreadie no hes right, velocity sensitive means it records how hard you press, touch sensitive means it it just senses touch.
-
the term youre looking for is "touch sensitive"....lol

@pnakml Sweet. Thank you.

@scientrophic 1) yes you can, the hardware has a knob for the swing and with update 1.6 you can apply different type of swing to each group 2) mainly with Ableton, but it works with any.

This is dope. Two questions which you may not be able to answer. 1) Does the Maschine have the ability to apply swing rhythm to loops without going to the DAW? and 2) Which DAW did you use it with? I really like Ableton (especially now that I've spent all this time learning to use it!), and was wondering if people have used it effectively with Ableton.

@NJhousehead or act cool and slice the sample to fit your needs ;)
I'm really thinking about getting one. Does it sense how hard you are pressing the buttons and apply volume that way?

Interesting stuff.
Does this work well without having to look at the pc or is it a myth in reality?

@glennmusictech: this video was done without looking at the laptop!
of course you've got to know your stuff quite well, but once you do, you can make almost anything straight from here.
what lacks is when in Sampling Mode, wich basically doesn't allow to focus on the sample and so on, so you get way fucked up on long samples without the screen
