  • It's ironic. Christians don't like it when people get involved in their personal lives and bother them because of their beliefs. But for some reason Christians find it totally justified to get involved in gays' personal lives and persecute them because of their sexuality. Why the double standard? Is it because most Christians are hypocrites? Yeah, probably. Anyway, nobody should ever be punished or persecuted for their beliefs unless they're inciting violence or crime.

  • Here is a catch though in 1974 a christian couple went around in my neighborhood outting young teens to their parents,,should that have beenuse agaist them? Especially when two committed suicide.

  • This report is not factualy true the couple made a series of calls that were increasingly demanding and demeaning - people can and should be able to celebrate their religious beliefs but its not a licence to intimidate and bully others into their way of thinking - sadly some religious people have taken an anti gay stance as a token of their piety - love is an emotion not bitch fight

  • hate speech is hate speech any way you cut it

keep your homophobia to your self's

  • @candiceevans1 Okay, fair enough. I don't pretend to know anything about the Bible, I've never personally read it. I'm sorry if I offended you. So God hates sin and not homosexuality? Okay then, so what's the problem here with homosexuality because it's definately not a sin. It's perfectly normal to have an attraction towards another human no matter what sex.

  • @Empep12 You can be gay if you want too, it's your choice. Or anyone. Also a person can murder, lie, steal, commit adultery, etc. Be warned there's consequences to your actions. Being gay or an adulterer, or even a fornicator has consequences, STD's, Aids. And murder has one too, death. So go ahead do what you want, enjoy your life. Know this you will have to stand before the Lord God who is Jesus and give an account, would you like a public defender or defend yourself?

  • @Shoots1978 I'm not perfect, relative to other humans. All humans are perfect, not just me. ;)

And... eating figs will get you cursed. Eating shellfish would get you killed. Have you ever ever READ the bible?

If eating shellfish isn't bad anymore, then neither is being gay. It's as simple and complex as that.

  • @Empep12 OK then if your perfect then don't worry about anything. You've never done anything wrong. I would love to meet you then, to see my first perfect person. Wow, that is awesom! Eating shellfish, am I Jewish living in that time? Do we not have the right tools for cooking this food now? Eating food never made a person dirty. Jesus even said that, we are already dirty to a holy God. And just because you don't get your way in life means you have to go around acting like a child.

  • @Shoots1978

Humans are perfect. We have no savior. We have no need for one.

Racist sexist bigots wrote the bible.

And also... do you warn people about eating shellfish? And mixing fabrics? And all the other things Lev. says is an "abomination"?

  • Like religion itself... this video presentation is one sided. We didn't hear all of the evidence in question. No specific details of what was said. So all this message amounts to is propaganda.

What this couple experienced from the police is just a tiny and brief taste of what gays had to suffer from Religion, Law, Police and Community, some of it deadly, but all well within living memory and for centuries before. By comparison this couple received the gentlest touch of a feather!

  • @lanksareit Hey get out of the road there's a big truck coming!" Oh never mind that is a hateful thing to say, I might offend you. So I'll ignore warning you, and let you get run over. The big truck by the way is the Lord Himself, and He is the Law, coming to arrest those who broken the Law, His law. Have you ever lied, stolen, blasphemed His name, coveted in your mind someone else's things, dishonored your parents? Repent and believe in Jesus today, before it's too late.
