  • @ljmcdonald Yes, you can get it fixed. First, try a simple needle breakage of the chord without Xiaflex. This is done by Dr. Charles Eaton in Jupiter Florida and by doctors he has taught. He learned it in France. The chord in your hand can be broken by two little knitting needles in 4 or five places and then stretched out after to get a similar straight finger extension. Xiaflex has risks of swelling and tendon rupture not found with Dr. Eaton's NA method. Also, it costs much less, under $1,000.

  • For me it took 2 injections, 5 office visits, and cost was over $8,000 of which Blue Cross insurance covered only $1500.
