Chained

"Chained" is my first short film debut. I wrote, directed, and edited this 7 minute horror/suspense film that played at the Bristol Community College film Festival. We filmed on March 23, 2008 and the filming process was plagued with problems. A major problem was that the professional camera I rented from BCC had faulty heads. We filmed for 3 hours with nothing being recorded to the tape. We had to rapidly re-shoot everything with my own miniDV camera due to the fact that I only had my actors and location for 1 day. Another problem I had was that the blood gags were not working, we had to cheat them with camera cuts. I feel very proud of what came out of that day. I had a great response on May 8, 2008 when I had about 20 people at the BCC film festival just to see my film play on the big screen. Some people may say the film is cheesy but I love it and it will hold a special place in my heart forever. I hope you enjoy it.
