St. Joseph's Inn (a guesthouse, inn, hotel, whatever you want to call it) was underwhelming at first sight. Especially at the end of another long day of sightseeing and riding through the mountains. Margie and I were both unsteady on our feet and slaphappy as we wandered down and around looking for our shared cottage. She definitely needs nose flute lessons!
St. Joseph's Inn has 27 rooms and cottages and is the largest guesthouse in Sagada. Owned by the Episcopalian Church, these buildings were once part of a seminary and it is still managed by officers of the church. Psst....Sagada is freezing at night! Ask for extra blankets and dress warmly.
Don't forget the Mosquito nets. Those bugs love American blood. They about ate me alive, the last time i was there.
2:01 yup, the roads in the Philippines are in bad shape. Your speed is reduced to a crawl due to all the pot holes. Plus the traffic in Manila is one of the worst i seen anywhere. I let my uncle drive and i sometimes drive but only on the express ways.
Great vids Sheila
