[Notes:various of jerseys]No - the Cubs jersey is no longer allowed, neither is this one - the Red Sox -- or this one from the Yankees. Major League Baseball says these Little League players can't use those team names anymore -- or any other major league team names for that matter. SOT: Anderson: "They see the Cubs, they see the Sox, the Yankees and they want to be one of those, that's what they want to be." [Notes:various of kids playing ball] The league says team names are only permitted if the teams buy their jerseys from their specific supplier - Majestic Athletic - and those uniforms are more expensive. What a load of crap. The only reason they want them to buy from a certain company is probably because they get a "kick back" It's no wonder people are getting fed up with pro sports they make all this money and still want to dictate to kids who are playing because they love the game. In addition the teams they want to emulate should be flattered, remember these are the kids that one day be in the big leagues, I'm sure they will remember what you jerks did.
