That's nothing! I had the privilege of watching it stand 4 tonnes of bells plus 4 tonnes of steel frame being hoisted into position! (Film to follow)
I'm sure the force of a 21cwt bell swinging around 360 degrees then back again puts far more stress on the tower than a few intrepid abseilers.
