@gymchick3345 her focus and consistency was her undoing, she was good when she was on, but any distraction threw her completely off her game.

@gymspect04 yeah, that's wrong on so many levels. Too bad that specialists were recognized, or even utilized, in 2000, Atler would have nailed floor, beam and vault.

Starting with first place: Elise Ray*, Amy Chow*, Kristen Maloney*,Morgan White*, Jamie Datzscher*, Vanessa Alter, Dom Dawes*, Alyssa Beckerman (named alternate at trials), Tasha Schwikert (Alternate named long after trials). Morgan White broke her leg during training camp, Bella then placed Tasha on the team. The actual team was:Ray,Maloney,Dantzscher,Chow,Dawes,Schwikert. Despite 7 error filled routines Alter placed 5th ahead of Dawes, Beckerman, and Schwikert but wasn't named to the team.
