HORIZON Eight, Arizona PBS -- Artists for Action -- SB 1070

As a growing number of artists boycott Arizona to protest Arizona's immigration law, a coalition of local artists is asking them to rethink that strategy. Artists for Action is urging performers to come to Arizona and make their voices heard rather than stay away, which ultimately hurts fans and music venues the most. We'll talk about this strategy with David Slutes, a Tucson musician and promoter who helped create Artists for Action; and Kimber Lanning, the director of Local First Arizona, a non-profit organization that promotes locally owned businesses throughout the state.

Hall and Oates, really we should care, they are a joke. Rage against the machine, and others need to go to Nogales, Mexico and perform a 3 day festival see how many want to boycott Arizona after that. If they where to actually spend some time reviewing the issue they would stop this stupidity of Boycotts and realize that their right to free speech is dependent on laws like this. The failure of many of the lefties to gain the truth on this issues shows their ignorance. The impact is 0!

PBS as well as the State Department, has been active in getting Mexico and other Latin America countries, to file legal briefs and attempted suits in Federal Court against Arizona. Fight back by NOT DONATING money to PBS.

PBS has been waging WAR against Arizona by soliciting groups to Boycott the state. You can fight back by NOT DONATING TO PBS. Having fewer Hispanic artists perfrom in Arizona might actually be a good thing, even though it seems bad when you first think about it.
