Letting my French Brittany Arrow run the hills after chukar. This was her second season and she did really well holding her birds.

What part of Utah was this in? I used to have a Brittany I hunted chukar with. Very hard working dog who was obsessed with hunting.

awesome vid and dog. i have a half brit half english pointer "roscoe" . he's a chukar stud as well, headin to kansas to kick up some roosters then back to the chucks!

nice video, i have a brittany, and this season will be his second season. im hoping to get him out chukar hunting as soon as i can. i got some cool video clips you can see them if you search quail hunting in nevada
i am just practicing with him for this season. Love the song choice, and love the french brittany!

Beautiful dog. How far does he range? I am asking since he is a spaniel and a pointer. From the pictures , I see that he ranges pretty far. Like a real pointer. We are thinking of getting a birddog. I like the Springers since they dont range too far (easier to handle) but then they dont do all that well on Chukars.

You have an awesome dog..I have an older french brittney who looks just like her. But im afraid he might be to old to bird hunting. hes 12 1/2. But still has a gorgeous point:)

Arrow ran with a 13 year old English Pointer this year and that dog was still great on birds. Give the dog a chance and see what happens.

Arrow will range out to just over a quarter mile while we are chukar hunting.
Springers are great dogs but they don't go on point which for me is a big part of the fun.

We are in Utah. Good luck getting your pup on some birds. Nothing better than a French Britt slamming on point.
