skype blocked fring as you prob already know, so please tell me how can we skype on the evo now? i def need know bc that skyping on my phone was the shit!

@252TIPZ unfortunately, there's no way right now. Fring was the only way to do it and Skype has since blocked them, so we have to wait until Skype releases its own app. That could take a while since they have an exclusive with Verizon. It will probably take another 3rd party.

Don't waste your time with Skype. To make it easier, and truly multi-platform ( PC to Android to Iphone/Ipod ) use Yahoo Messenger app available for android devices with 2.2 or greater OS. It works on WiFi, 3G and 4G. Its easier and more reliable.

@Stroupified Because the iphone can do it on the Skype App and you guys still can't. It's kind of frustrating because I have a few friends who want to Skype me at school from their Droid phones and can't.

Video calling (Facetime) needs to be unified. That way it works for everyone. No sense in making it so difficult.

@chieltjeuh u can do auto call to if u and ur partner have a second skype open on ur pc u have 2 skypes installed a mobile version to if u open that one u have 2 skypes and u can do 2 calls then u call person in audio call whit ur phone and u can start.

Camdroid is needed but no audio it registers that is the only bad thing.

Teamviewer is good but u cannot minimize and that's what i hate. if anyone know a better app then teamviewer please do pm me

what i use is teamviewer and camdroid x,.

What i do i use camdroid to use my mobile as webcam. then i use teamviewer to see my pc screen to see my friends camera.

All u need is the same WIFI u pc is conected to, els i get disconnected of camdroid

so i can use camdroid so people are able to see me whit my phone camera. the phone camera sends it to my camdroid then i use teamviewer to see the person webcam and me in tiny.
