again your both wrong. Black cannt play Kxc2 since thats illegal I assume you meant Kxc7. If you notice there is a Queen on b4 attacking the king ie check. Yes after Kxc7 Black is already winning a piece but some people think that because he cannt castle this is ok. The rest of the game is just mopping up. the game is shown from chessbase so illegal moves are not possible.

Qh5 is also a bad move that is the entire point of this educational video. to show that white does not gain any benefit from and early queen raid.

can you please explain to me how Nxc2 is possible when your in check?

Actually this is very common at the beginner level. I teach 100's of kids a week and in my experience the 4 move checkmate is one of the first openings I have to debunk. Your correct about all problems with it, (ignoring development, not fighting for the center , failing to try to gain an advantage from the opening. But I mention all these and is the entire POINT of the video that the opening is wrong. My philosphy is to teach players a sound way to defeat the opening then they are the winners.

OK some background on names of openings. The name of an opening such as the modern is based on black's moves not white. The modern opening often transposes into other openings such as the King's indian , dragon, gruenfeld, or the pirc. A player should never play moves in anticipation of another players expected moves play what you feel is best. I teach the accelerated dragon and Benko complex to my students

No I mean the modern defence is a combination of both white's and black's play. 1. e4 g6 2. Qf3 Bg7 3. Bc4 Nf6. For black it's something like B07: Pirc's Defence in fact I think Pirc's Defence is a wonderful opening although it is rather difficult to play this opening

You make some valid points the problem with the 4-move checkmate is that its more of a mistake in a mental approach in ignoring your opponents threats. 1.....e5 is one of the best moves to respond to
1.e4 with. the approach you offer is more advanced and is a bad opening for beginners. It ignores classical control of the center until later in the game. which is a building block for improvement. For beginners it is better to play 1.... e5 or maybe 1...c5 and avoid closed positons.

Double check your moves before making comments please. on the time you mentioned it was White's move not black's.
What if instead their second move is Qf3

then 2...Nf6 stops all the fun and games for white. This video is not meant to show every single possible line but an outline.
As I tell my students you still have to think for yourself during a game I can not play the moves for you.
