As soon as I heard the song sung by Celine Dion, I realized what made the difference. This shows that in the case of wonderful voices, the choice of music opens up a vantage point. Imagine if there was an exchange of songs between them, certainly the story would be different.

@olympus2030 Actually, ylannis77ylannis is not wrong. Celine Dion (Switzerland) did indeed appear seventh and Luxembourg (Lara Fabian) appeared seventeenth. He/she was not talking about who won or how they were ranked; that is simply the order in which they appeared. Celine was the seventh contestant to sing, and Lara the seventeenth.
Rank-wise, Switzerland won 1st place and Luxembourg won 4th place.
It's a matter of taste, I guess, but I personally prefer Lara's voice.

I think She didn't win because her song less dance than song by Celine Dion or other singer, who were on higherposition. But as for me, Lara always the best. Her songs make me believe in love, good... I think it's great. Thank you Lara

of course we brunettes do but somehow lara's color is fair color
it's more lara to my mind, real lara, it suits her more

lara is the best. she has everything, she is just amazing. Celine might be an excellent singer, but somehow lara seems to be more human than any other artist
