NOTE:
This jailbreak DOES work for every iPhone and iPod Touch device running on the latest firmware (3.1.2)

FOR UNLOCKED USERS:
By upgrading to 3.1.2, unlocked iPhone 3G / 3GS users will lose their unlock. SO if you are using ultrasn0w to keep your device unlocked and use T-Mobile / Fido, etc. on your iPhone DO NOT UPGRADE.

FOR iPOD TOUCH 3G USERS:
This jailbreak IS TETHERED. Which means everytime you reboot / restart your device, It'll be stuck and not start back up untill your reconnect it to your computer. And run Blackra1n again.

For Mac Users:
Mac people, we know we are still the best. We get our Pwnagetool and our custom IPSW's before anyone, so this is windows's revenge, but don't worry, you know the dev team is working on a Redsnow to jailbreak 3.1.2 and it will also be MAC COMPATIBLE, and I WILL make a video on it as soon as it's released, so just sit back, relax, and play with all the special features mac has that windows doesen't untill it's released. If you are on AT&T and have any iPhone. OR if you have the iPod Touch 1G / 2G, You have a complete real and flawless jailbreak for your device.


Dont Panic if you get stuck at recovery screen. Please hold home and power button together for few seconds till your device reboots. Now run Blackrain again. When you press "make it rain" , the moment you see apple logo and its going to recovery mode (you will hear a charm), Quickly just Unplug cable from Iphone and plug it back in. You will be surprised to see the results. Or you can also switch USB ports and then try it.
(EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A REALLY LOW CHANCE FOR YOUR DEVICE TO EVEN GET STUCK)
