@dakerson1234 .. If you do the research you'll see that anchor stones 6-7 ft high were discovered 400 miles east of the Ark's site. The formation of the stones show roughly the same dimensions of the arc itself but wider. The stones are also engraved. The two by two story is found in many cultures, not just Judaism or Christianity. Muslims also believe in the Great Flood. Western Christianity turned it into a Kid's story but there's a lot of evidence pointing towards it's authenticity.

@bobcatallstar7 By "front page news" I don't literally mean a periodical or two published a "get your attention" story...lol. By front page news I mean that which literally upsets the status quo aka September 11th...not something that is unsubstantiated and then fades into oblivion like all "ark discovery" stories. The ark has been "discovered" like 30 times now yet none of the evidence or pictures or research seems to make it any further than a good ol' ufo story.

Is this serious? They actually believed that thing existed, carried two of every animal, there was a global flood (which there is no evidence for) and they actually found it? This is serious? I cant wrap my head around the stupidity of this.

@diva1lilly No real evidence nor good photos have been brought forth as to the actual location or photos of the exterior of the "boat". There have been SO many Noah's Ark hoaxes that it should be embarrassing to the believers. If something was actually found FOR ONCE, it would be front page news!

Surely no-one over the age of about seven really believes that the Noah's Ark story is actual historical fact?

There are any number of reasons why it is impossible.

@YaOkRight - the evidence found from Mt.Arrarat - one of them is the wood which is why we beleive it is the arc. Becoz after examing the wood in the Stanford University.. they identified it as 15 differnt wood comprssd togethr...out of which 12 were identified but the reaming 3 probably went way with the flood!!

If you read the bible the dimensions given to make the noahs arc to Moses are precisely the same! and abt the dinosaurs its given in the bible in :Job 40:15 to 24. and in that its also mentioned abt their extinction. I hope that has helped you! :)

Don't dispute that there was a big flood at some stage (end of ice age), but I do consider it absolute rubbish about 5 million animals being transported in this boat. Funny how these christian fundamentalists are using science when it suits. Obviously the science that said dinosaurs existed and the earth is millions of years old instead of 6000 doesn't suit.
