It warms my heart to see an Asian guy appreciating a 1970 Chevy Impala instead of a Honda or a Toyota. These were real cars with real comfort and ride. Why do most Asian people come to our country from war torn countries, get good paying factory jobs and the first thing that they do is buy a Honda or a Toyota to say "thanks" for helping them out when they finally get a good paying job? There's something wrong with this picture!!!

@MegaTmarshall Haha, I understand your frustration. My dad worked at the Fremont GM Plant and he would tell me horrible stories of drugs, sex, drinking parties and stuff that goes on there WHILE they build cars because of the contracts they had. *Hard to get fired.

We own that Impala, a Toyota Corolla, a GMC Envoy, a Dodge Ram Van and a Volvo. Got to keep in mind that the Japanese car plants do hire thousands of Americans since the plants are actually in America.

as a travelling salesman I was given anew 1970 Impala 4 door sedan, fleet spec with front drum brakes and a 2 speed PG. Yet I enjoyed driving it tremenfously.

@yehzhaofeng If anyone he should be frustrated with is the American consumer not an Asian. I feel we all have the God given right to buy what we choose. I remember my cousin asking her father for a loan on a down payment for a brand new Toyota and this right after he lost his job at a plant that did not get a contract renewal to build parts for American cars. Now he had the right to be frustrated--lol--he loan her the money.
