I am so very sorry for your loss! Something I found that was kinda scary to me, is I had a major car wreck on October 1st of this year. I had two of my best friends ejected, and me and my other friend stayed in the car, but were all seriously hurt. I thank God no one died! I am deeply sorry for your loss, no amount of time can heal the pain of loosing a child! God Bless You!!

So very sad! I lost my husband in a head on collision with a Semi. He was texting! I know only too well the pain of a loss like this!

Thank you for having the courage to post this heart wrenching story . . . eventually, through efforts like yours, we may be able to put a stop to drunk driving.
In response to "its not entirely related to alcohol, I would just add that alcohol seriously impairs your judgment and ability to make good decisions. Driving 75 in 25 is not a decision most sober drivers will make.

@loveukory Thankyou for posting this vid. It was very honest and too the point. Driving Drunk or just having a couple of drinks,a toke or two...leads to reckless behavoir, nothing to debate here. I am just glad that you called a spade a spade. That kind of honesty is hard to find . Hard to know what's beter when you're a little or a lot intoxicated especially if your'e feelin like you are Superman or Mario Andretti,he was just a kid,you know what I mean. Judgement has a way of disappearing, PEACE

I have a 16 year old named Corey who is the best kid I could ever ask for. He is most likely a lot like your Kory and I can't imagine life without him. YOUTH in itself is probably the most dangerous part of life itself. The feeling of being unstoppable and immortal as a kid creates lack of good judgement and a false sense of strength at times. I am so so sorry for your loss and I will be showing your tribute/lesson to my two teens. God bless you and make you strong! always be proud of who he was

Very sorry for your loss. Thank you for having the courage to make this video during your own suffering to help others. God bless you.
I, Kory's mother, is also grateful that my son's reckless behavior didn't hurt or kill anyone else. I don't usually respond 2 comments made here, especially the neg 1's..u are entitled to your opinion. This video was not made by me to gain sympathy, It was made so that perhaps someone would refrain from making those bad choices. You are correct those who are left behind from sometthing like this r bound by ones bad choices ~ The video was made for that purpose! Grateful 4 ur sympathy. Peace

Sorry for your loss but I think alcohol played only a very minor role in your son's death, if any at all. We all hear the propaganda about driving drunk, but most people don't get behind the wheel and start racing and driving 50 over the speed limit. They're too busy worrying about a cop rolling up behind them and slapping them with a DUI. Not an advocate for drunk driving, just saying the root cause of this was reckless behavior. They should've known better, drunk or not drunk.

@fresaw1 Thank you for your condolence & Yes I have to agree in part...This was not entirely related to alcohol. He should have known better. In 2006 accidents claimed the lives at the rate of one every 39 minutes in the United States, based on the most recent data available (13,470 deaths in 2006 in crashes were caused by DUI drivers w/ 0.08 percent). About 2 out of every 3 teenagers killed in car crashes in 2008 were males...They should have known better too..Hence the reason for my video...
