@Shabaka87 Learn to do some research before making ignorant statements. The 2008 election was not even close to the largest victory margin ever. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even meet the established criteria of a "landslide". Obviously presidents aren't elected by popular vote but by the electoral college. Even if it were by popular vote, it is generally true that it must be a victory of more than 15% of all votes cast to be a "landslide"...the last of which would've been LBJ's 1964 election

@Shabaka87 Pardon my first response. Let me correct it....the most recent presidential landslide by popular vote AND by electoral college vote was Reagan's 1984 victory over Mondale. I wouldn't want to misinform you or confuse you anymore than you already obviously are. Also the "largest margin EVER" by popular vote actually belongs to LBJ's victory over Goldwater (1964) and the largest margin EVER by electoral college belongs to George Washington as it was unanimous vote for his first term...
