On a queit Sunday evening, the Sonoma County Sheriff's SWAT and MAGNET (gang enforcement units)roll out a tank and several heavily armed and armored deputies to search a family home. No arrests appear to have been madeduring the search. How much does something like this cost the community...?

At what cost? the cost of protecting the police that risk there lives to subdue criminals, sure there are some bad cops out there, but in reality a vast majority of them are just protecting themselves in the process of figuring out what it is you are doing if it is suspicious.

@GeneralBerger Some do, and some, unfortunately, do not. The problem is that a 'bad cop' can do tremendous damage, and in our current system it can be very difficult to prove that a bad cop is bad. Add in the tribalism that frequently pops up in law enforcement...

LOL.... So because no arrests were made that somehow makes it bad? They are serving a searc warrant, arrest warrant or both. You probably didn't stick around for the next 5 hours to see the investigators collecting evidence if it were a search warrant on a drug house... If it was an arrest warrant, the felon they were looking for who is known to have/use firearms or has some other dangerous past that is a threat to everyone was not there, so they'll find him another day. just too all the goofballs who made this video and commented on the LAV. It;s a light armored vehicle. not amphibious, and not just a truck. I also think that this seems like a pointless video. The police really do want to protect you, and being near an obviously dangerous operation is both harmful to you as well as th cops. and to address the other people who said its a rich neighborhood obviously don't know what they are talking about. They could have been raiding someone extremely rich.
