Produced by Pete Townshend at Eel Pie on August 16, 1973, this track first appeared on the original Odds and Sods album in 1974.

Pete: "This is from the same bale of hay as 'Postcard', recorded at home for an EP. It's a drug song, all about the good life in the fields growing those fantastic phallic ornamental gourds you can use to... to... to make gorgeous fruit bowl arrangements. See if you can catch the immensely subtle reference to 'Air' in this song. This track is from the period when The Who went slightly mad, we put out several records called 'Dogs' and at least one about finding 'ones inner self'. Gourds mate, that's the secret of life... gourds."

Once again, couldn't find it on YouTube so here it is.

  • I'm a farmer in malaysia

This is the second video after searching that.

  • Oh god, that BASS!

  • The riff @2:10 was lifted from Frank Ifield's 1962 hit "I Remember You", I believe.

  • This song was written in 1967/68, a backing track was recorded in 1968, Pete Townshend wanted it to be on "Tommy" but couldn't figure out where to put it. They considered releasing it as a single, but didn't. They re-recorded it for a 1970 EP, and it wasn't released until 1974 on "Odds and Sods".

  • 2 people's happiness has not taught them what they want to know.
