This townhouse caught fire when the owner spilled oil from a deep fryer onto the wooden balcony. The flame from the propane tank fueled the fire. Nobody was injured. For best viewing results, use the "Watch In High Quality" link.

  • thats how you lose whole buildings right there.... what do they do when they find victims during their secondary.... oh wait, primary search?

  • You have to remember that MCFR doesn't allow firefighters inside to fight fire. They know that insurance will pay for the fire damage and they will not endanger their paid men for fear of a lawsuit.

  • at 00.58 water in and water out WOW

  • Where is that bell coming from?

  • @krbgolf275 hey there, i can assure you that station 8 (busiest in the County), let alone any station in MOCO, do not waiste time getting to a BOX alarm. But you know, 5 or 7 min's feels like a lifetime for someone watching a working fire. I agree about the tower not up sooner though, stay safe ;)

  • Great video! I was on this fire but dispatched on the second so we didn't see any action. Thanks for putting it up.

  • Digitcam, these videos are the best, you get up close and personal with every fire :)

  • @shortgapemt At one point you do see handlines going inside and spirts or water coming out of the window, but I do agree... That tower should have been up flowing water a lot sooner.

  • You got to love that TFT blitzfire. You only have to pay for it once and it will take care of business. We take them straight into the large structures and let em go. Big fire.....Big water, nuff said.

  • Hey has anyone on "A" shift heard of ladder pipe operations since they were first due on scene or they just wanted to watch a fire burn.
