@konvilin - Saddam was fighting a proxy war for us against Iran back then, why wouldn't we support him then? Reagan stated to Congress in 1990 that he didn't remember all the details, in retrospect now considering his Alzheimer disease it's entirely possible he was being truthful and not lying as you so disingenuously argue.
