This YouTube video shows Susquehanna S Gaugers (aka SSG) Layout #3, the S gauge tinplate "Christmas Fantasy Layout", located near Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania.

1. ABOUT THE LAYOUT:
In my ever-so-humble opinion, this is a layout that would have fit right in, with the Gilbert Hall of Science in NYC back when it existed. I.e. a display-type layout with loads of action and superb visual appeal.
It's a 5x12 platform, with a 4-foot extension to complete an L-shaped configuration, and has 9 loops of track.

2. ABOUT THE BUILDER, MARK:
The layout builder, Mark, has an amazing talent for cramming an amazing amount of track, buildings, scenery, and action into a limited space. If some of us tried this, it would look like an overcrowded hodgepodge. But Mark has a rare talent, that the finished product all blends together in a visual delight -- exhibiting a level of artistic skill that some of us can only dream about.

Said another way, if you have seen Bill Fraley's highly detailed s-Scale layout in Hershey Pennsylvania, one of the many things you might admire, is Bill's ability to cram a lot of scenery and buildings into a limited space . . . and have it all look great. Now, if you can try a imagine a "tinplate version of Bill Fraley" -- that might be Mark !
