  • ..I thought i had heard all the great surf songs over the years & don't know how I missed this one but if will be included on my list of 'all time greats' ... surprised this hasn't ever been used on any surfing movie before, it would make a great ending song to a surf sunset..

  • For me the words "Blue Mountains" will always ring the bell for the "Three Sisters"

    A former Sheila :-)

  • @ruandted The Denvermen backed Digger Revell, but it was always the Denvermen as Instrumentalists that worked for me.

  • bloody beautiful , the memories flood back . I used to think 65 was old until i got there . In the mist of my mind I thought The Denvermen were a backing group for a singer that i cannot remember . thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for posting my tune.

Am original member of the Denvermen.

Tune was played on Gibson and using a acoustic guitar for rhythm.

Band members are still living but sadly not playing together any more.

Average age now about 65. Those were the days!! Long live Aussie Instrumentals................TEX

  • I love it. Australian surf was heavily influenced by the Shadows - not a surf but instrumental and influential in their own right. Great song

  • An angel that brightens up a wet overcast Sunday. Good to see you.
