Jow Ga China Tournament Part 1 - Australian Jow Ga Kung Fu - 九江英勇堂

The Jow Ga tournament was held in Sheng Tung Village (上東村) of Jiujiang (九江鎮) on 18 July 2009. Many Jow Ga masters and disciples from China, Hong Kong, USA, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia gathered here and performed Jow Ga Kung Fu. This footage shows the banquet gathering of Jow Ga schools and Part 1 of the Austrlaian Jow Ga Kung Fu team.

Local Jow Ga Sifus and disciples came from Guangzhou (廣州), Zhaoqing (肇慶) and Jiangman (江門) . The disciples from Jiujiang Heros Assembly (九江英雄堂) welcomed guest with lion dances, drums and gongs. Mr Jow Bai Rong (周柏榮), the President of China and Overseas Jow Ga Jiujiang Heros Assembly Sheng Tung Amateur Martial Arts Federation (中外周館九江英勇堂上東事業餘武術體育會) was host. It was the first time such a large scale international Jow Ga Tournament has been held in China.

With the arrivals of Sifu Rahim Mohammed's US team and Sifu Randy Sullivan Bennett's Australian Team the Jow Ga Tournament started in the open areas of the martial art assembly hall. Although there were occasional showers from a typhoon during the evening, the unstable weather did not affect the excitement of all Jow Ga disciples who in turn performed their kung fu.
