I love how this video starts at the perfect moment, at the horn call that announces the return to the theme. It's the most tense part of the piece.

Why is Napoleon's picture on here? I'm pretty sure Beethoven made it clear that he no longer wanted this symphony to be dedicated to him haha

@Nexthendrix2112 In fact, he didn't eulogise Napoleon as a man, but as character.

@Stoloft: I would imagine Beethoven enraged just to see this man representing his dear "Eroica". Oh well.

@Bseriesxlp He liked Napoleon ONLY for his early revolutionary purpose, has never been pro-French. But later he will have surely broken an entire carton of rotten eggs on the wall after his coronation, (but I didn't find an image representing him at that time)!
