World Focus "Pakistan garbage pickers"

This program, featured on US national television, tells the story of children in Pakistan, some as young as five years old, who pick garbage for hours every day to support their families. Concern is working in partnership with WESS, a local organization, to improve the lives of these working children in Quetta and help them gain basic literacy and numeracy skills. The program reaches 4,000 children, 70 percent of whom have never had the chance to go to school.
