This is another video of One Must Fall 2097, a fighting game developed by Diversions Entertainment and published by Epic MegaGames in 1994. Unlike in other fighting games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, you don't compete against humans directly, you use giant Human Assisted Robots (HAR) instead. This game has three game modes: The single-player mode, in which you fight against several employees of the company called World Aeronautics and Robotics (WAR); the multi-player mode, in which you can fight against a friend; and the tournament mode, in which you have to win prize money to improve your machine in order to become the world champion.

This game has been released as freeware in 1999.

  • One of the best fighting games ever made

  • Anyone else think that they should have made this a movie instead of Real Steel?

  • My absolute favorite fighting game. Usually when i go back to older games i get let down because it wasn't as good as i remembered. But to this day it never fails to amaze me how good it is. Imagine a high res 2.5D version of this game, it would be so awesome.

  • I was watching Real Steel today. What a shameless ripoff. :)

  • The music in this game was hardcore, and I absolutely loved how the fighters looked. Great game!

  • Yo man, fuck, man, I played throught this game when I was about 12 years old. One of the most awesomest games ever. Brings back some great memories with my friends :D Thanks!!

  • @Koolfox I wished I had bought the full version back in 94 to some extent. I loved it. It beat those Nes, and Sega fighting games hands down. I really wish they'd do remakes of these classics for the current PC systems.

  • @MobiusArrow :D

  • :D

  • @KapiteinKrentebol Open your dosbox.conf file (master one in /user/appData/DOSBox) and change the CPU Cycles from Auto/Max to 14000 and it'll run fine.

  • As with most Epic shareware games it is hard to get the speed of the game right on Dosbox, it runs way too fast in normal mode.

  • Jaguar is unstoppable. Easily the best moveset out of all the robots with very few vulnerabilities. Surprising since it's the one you get in the demo.
