I live so many thousand miles from you, maybe, but so many years ago when I heard this song I begun lo love it. That old LP was and is missed, but I can hear it again here, I agree, this is a great song, I don´t know what chart position it had, but I definitily is a great and rich song. Thanks to you elofan567 and Helen Reddy of course!

Such a brilliant song. One of my favorites. So very existential if not for the hope at the end.

At 0:48 that's Ann Murray, not Helen Reddy.

Helen has a rather distinctive voice. One can definitely tell she's from Australia...

Been a Helen Reddy since I was 5 yrs old ... I am 43 now and this is my absolutely favorite HR song!! You are awesome for posting. Glad to see it out there.

helen reddy's song reminds me of elementary school and the cbs-tv show ''Maude''.

You are correct. Both tracks were on 1977's Ear Candy album, which included, One More Night; Long Distance Long; Baby, I'm A Star; Aquarius Miracle; If It's Magic; Thank You; and others.

...I think this track was on 'Ear Candy' that also had 'You're My World' but I may be wrong.

Great song! The picture from frame :48 to :55 wasn't Helen Reddy--it was Anne Murray. Also, this song did chart on the Hot 100 at Number 57 and also made it all the way to Number 14 on the Adult Contemporary Chart.
