  • @TheHamstermind17 She said in the video you dickhead

  • Thanks for the info ... I just got one and it helped alot

  • @jdpeck100 : well, what you say about a partner is incorrect. A human can not replace a partner bird. Cockatiels build strong relationships and spend every minute of their lifes with each other. While the owner is not at home they suffer. Furthermore a human can not practice the species-specific behaviours with the bird. And that is a fact. If you google or read specialised literature everybody will tell you that it is better for the bird to give him a partner.

  • To Thekicki123 okay, cockatiels don't need a partner bird. Curby (or however you spell it) has a partner...his owner. And about wing clipping, it is cruel, but I've known birds that have flown into windows and died. It depends on what house you live in. It can be cruel, and it is okay, they can still fly, just not up and away. I promise I'm not trying to be rude, but it is for the safety of pet parrots.

  • this has nothing to do with species-appropriate "care". 1. Cage is much too small. It's like being trapped in a lavatory 2. she has no cockatiel partner, which is the MOST important thing for those animals, since a human can never never NEVER, substitute that 3. clipping wings?! that's not ok, its cruel. If you would ask your birds if that is ok for them i guess they wouldn't agree.

  • thanks allot I'm getting one for Christmas and this helped

  • Is your cockatiel clipped or just tamed with unclipped wings?
