My contribution to the George Strait category. This is the first song I heard from Mr. Strait and I am now a fan.
ADDED JUNE 2008- Thanks for all the comments on George and this song but we can't forget all the musicians too that make this a great song. Personally I love the acoustic guitar and the slide guitar solo but it's way TOO SHORT.

i like george strait the first time i heard this song his voice is different frum all the rest of them other country singers. and for country music he makes it sound real good, i can listen to him and toby keith all night and day

I had never heard this song, but my boyfriend who is incarcerated told me to listen to it. I guess I know what was on his mind.LMAO, he is getting a good letter after hearing this song.

The verses in this song sound EXACTLY like Lost In Love by Air Supply. One Night At A Time came out in 1997 - Lost In Love came out in 1980.

That's the song! "One night" reminded me of a song but I could not figure out which one until now. As soon as I read Lost In Love I knew that was the one. Thank you!

@OjaiRoy obvioiusly if anyone cared or thought it was a big deal it would've been brought up a long time ago. Do you really think George Strait needs to steal other peoples music.

@Rajhathetiger Are you referring to Lost In Love by Air Supply? We were just mentioning that parts of the songs sounds similar, not that George was stealing people's music.
