This is the male box turtle from the previous video recieving it's first injection to help with the respiratory infection. There is full commentary in the video to explain what is happening.
Again, i must stress the importance of doing your research before purchasing an exotic pet. With the proper care, these poor little guys wouldn't be in the situation they are in right now...

Thanks for watching :)

  • I've had a box turtle for 12 years. She's had a few RI over the years. We've always been instructed to do the objections in the front legs only. This is because when it's in the back legs it goes right to the kidneys and gets peed out. Be sure to talk with an experienced herp vet if your turtle needs care.

  • hey can i ask ? my turtle has RI problem and i took him for a vet to get antibiotic shots . Just want to know how many shot for him to make him better ?I'm so worried . Today is the first shot and i see nothing better :(
