@pmilley88 Yes I do know what it means. Also if you cant do it humanly dont do it at all. First of all you kill it before you rip the claws off. If I were you I would look into the french culinary institute or CIA both of which are in NY if you want to learn how to become a chef.

@justwealth You understand what dispatching means right? There are many ways to go about doing it. You can throw them in boiling water, you can stab it straight down behind its eyes, killing it instantly. Or.. you can do what my teacher -attempted- to show us here before getting cut herself, which is to sever it's spine by twisting and ripping it in half. (Sounds like the worst of them all, but if you do it quickly enough, which she didn't, it' the safest way to ensure instant death)
