I can compare them because of the way they make me feel. This may be a comedy, but it makes me so sad. I cry EVERY TIME I see it. Its an excellent portrayal of a relationship gone sour. At the end when Jennifer Aniston's character is crying, it just breaks my heart. A new one along the same lines that I really love is (500) Days Of Summer.

i just watched this movie for the first time yesterday, and i did'nt like it. eternal sunshine was much MUCH better! it had a very dark feel to it when it comes to breaking up with someone. i love movies like that ! this one sucked dude im sorry!!!
