God...how many of us have suffered as did Janis with "The Devil on Earth". How many cold and hot showers can be taken...how many joints, elbow, knees, shoulders and backs can cry out loud for HELP! I've done enough rolling around in and outside my head. It's a party for a week then it becomes a JOB no man should ever have to fight with. I thank God I am not where I have been before so many times. Brothers and Sisters...you know what I mean...and so did Janis and so many other muscians.

I have been off hard drugs for 16 years but I am still an addict and always will be. Broskijohansson, you are a judgemental prick! @udor1962 I think you misunderstood. I was talking about this recording. its not on any of Janis' albums, not on any releases, not even in rare pearls. i love her introducing the song. Its okay, maybe its a language thing. I cant speak German either.
